Virtual Console Dreaming: March 2025 Strategy Game Update

Romance of the Three Kingdoms IV: Wall of Fire by Koei

Nintendo is closing out March (yes, we have 1.5 weeks left, but I’m daring them to do something else) by adding four more titles to the Switch Online library:

-Nobunaga’s Ambition

-Nobunaga’s Ambition: Lord of Darkness

-Romance of the Three Kingdoms IV: Wall of Fire

-Uncharted Waters: New Horizons (I’d never heard of this, but the trailer makes me want to swashbuckle).

You could say, in their own way, Nintendo is preparing us for Assassin’s Creed Shadows and Onimusha 2 (I actually can’t remember if Nobunaga is the antagonist in Onimusha 2–I better replay it when the remaster drops, just to be safe).

All four of these titles are accessible through the Super Nintendo app and are available to Switch Online subscribers now.

As always, here is my wish list for Switch Online. There have been no additions since the last update. The day I finally get to cross one of these off is going to be a monumental occasion.

If you’re in the mood to dive into a bunch of unique trailers, I posted my impressions last night of the Future Games Show Spring Showcase (check the Features tab). There was a wide variety of projects shown over the course of the 90 minute presentation. So if you’re like me and are genuinely interested in everything, it’s worth a watch in its entirety.

That’s all I have to plug, for now.

Go play some games and have a wonderful weekend.
